WOW, what a macro! This photo makes this photo seem large - even dangerous! I'm reminded of those old movies where bees, bats, or spiders are larger than people. The details are fantastic. Great DOF and perfect POV.

Superb macro of a fly with great sharpness and details, if perhaps a little too closely cropped. Nice lighting and POV too.
This is a species of parasitic fly (Tachiniidae), probably Dexia rustica that is a parasite on Cockchafer Beetle larvae.
