Welcome all,

Today I present macro shot of tiny mushroom found near spruce tree in my garden. It has got about 6 mm high, was hidden deep in grass and moss. Unfortunatelly I'm not able to identify this small species, it is still very young and it's hard to see some species details.

Picture was taken hand held- very low point of view to show interesting microworld as it is. Original size of frame, noise removed using NeatImage, then some levels oparating, framing resizing and sharpening for TN.
I hope You will like the effect.

yes that is a small fungi, good comparison with the mosses, maybe when it gets a bit older you can ID it.

Hi Adrian,
Very nice and elegant pic with vivid colors. Perfect texture on the cap of the fungus. Even the oof background isn't disturbing (although in most of the cases I don't like it). About ID specification, I'm really not sure. A Hygrocybe maybe?
Artistic fungus shot with an own atmosphere, excellent presentation of a microcosmos. Bravo bravissimo.
