Sunbath under the big mushroom
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Warm welcome to all,
Finally first sunny day when I'm off work, I took a long walk to the forests near Olsztyn, beautiful calm autumn weather.
One of many pictures taken today- sunbathing beetle (Geotrupes stercorarius) on the leaf under the big mushroom from Lactarius family- probably L. vellereus.
Beetle was rally relaxed and didn't even care about me taking him photos from a close distant. I think he had off as well;).
Cropped a little from original to improve composition, some colour balance- too much yellow in original shot. Then just resizing, resharpening and framing. I hope You will like it as much as I do:0
cheers for watching and commenting.

Hi,
This is interesting shot from very low POV giving the feel of perspective seen from the beetle's eyes, where every single thing like the mushroom and leaves look really huge, nice light, good composition, exposure and sharpness, I like it!
Best regards,
Tomasz

Czesc Adrian!
Hi Adrian,
What a wonderful POV the photo has so many points of interest and that's not to mention the obliging beetle. The fungus adds interest yet not been in focus it does not draw your eye from the beetle.
Well done thanks for showing
Clive

Hello Adrian,
Very nice composition. I like the POV. Good focus on the beetle and good sharpness. I like the contrast between the yellow-brown colour of the foreground and the green of the trees in the background.
Cheers,
Mariki
