Hello!
Picture taken during summer this year, I found this big spider on his web hidden between small bushes on the forest road.
Unfortunatelly I'm not able to name the species of the spider, I will be glad if someone can help with the ID.
Picture was taken with Raynox DCR-250 macro lens which cature very flat DOF so it was hard to make all the spiders body sharp.
I hope You will like it!
Cheers and thanks for help with the ID... |

hi Adrian,
Mükemmel bir çalışma,
örümceğin kılları bile çok net,
ağ harika çıkmış.
Hi Adrian,
Great image!
I think what you have here is probably a species of Dolomedes or Nurseryweb spider.
In fact,it seems to be sitting right on top of the beginnings of a nursery it has built.
There are many species of Dolomedes, some of which can even dive and hunt underwater!
You can see one of my shots of a NZ species here
Cheers
Steve
