[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello
Yesterday I posted the picture of map butterfly and I promised at the end that I will present today what happened to it the next day.

So you can see it in the picture. Just two days after taking the previous picture I went to the same place to look for some new objects. I've found this spider (Araneus diadematus) eating its "lunch". When I looked closer at its "dish" I realised that it is butterfly and it seemed to me that it could be the map butterfly (as you can see dark wings and some white spots on them). Of course I can be 100% sure, but there were not so many butterflies in that place.

Some info about garden spider (Araneus diadematus, pająk krzyżak):
- size: females 10-18 mm, males - ~7mm,
- it is characterised by the white cross on the abdomen,
- you can find it from July till October in meadows, gardens, forests (it is very common spider in Poland).

This is really a fine detailed photo Ania. I do not like spiders near me, but they sure are interesting to photograph. Excellent focus and presentation.

A very good capture of this garden spider but sorry for the map butterfly as it has been rolled by the spider. Nice details and composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Lovely nature shot. The DOF is very good and you have caught some excellent sharp detail. Great sunject as well

Bardzo fajne zdjecie. Uchwycony jest fajny moment glebia ostrosci jestjak trzeba tlo bardzo fajne. Moze tylko skomponowal bym to inaczej np z pajakiem po lewej stronie
