Dear Radomir,
what a nice shot for this beautiful Dice or Grass Snake. You captured it with a great focus, composition, POV/OOF in natural biotop. Especially eyes contact wonderful. Not only photographe, but also notes great. Styles of both of us are similar about writing notes:)) They are very nice and informative. Nice to read them. Thanks for all of them. best wishes my friend

Hi Radomir.
I always am in admiration with details and sharpness of your shots. Razor sharpness< great rich colours despite the dark key of the shot execution/,. POV and composition are amazing. I also do not know which images (leaves or snake) are the best. Bravo.

Hello Radomir,
Great whole-body capture of a young Grass Snake, with fine flash lighting and details of the head taken from a great POV. A very fine illustration of this species that is common but not seen that often.
Thanks for sharing this one,

Hi Radomir, fantastic snake, perfect focus, wonderful details and splendid sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio
Hi Radek
A very nice shot of this cute, young Natrix.
This year i wasn't able to do a lot of herping, but i sure hope that next year i'll catch-up, once i begin my PhD :)
I really like this shot and this presentation because it shows everybody that snakes can be cute, nice and absolutely non-threatening.
Technically, i really like the sharpness, the natural contrast and the textures on the snake. Good flash work and nice compo, too.
Bravo and TFS
Horia
PS: I hope you'll be able to upload those photos i've sent you on the PES gallery, soon. As i said before, i hope that one day, we'll have all the species from Europe photographed and posted here for all student to acces:)

Hello Radomir,
This species not poisonous as you marked, however they are mostly killed , at least here, by human wherever appear. Because humans afraid of all snakes. The genus Natrix actually has venom glands without channel and they cant inject. This genus is represented by three species in both Turkiye and Europe, but N. megalocephala presents here whereas N. maura occurs in Europe.
As for your capture, it is really very beautiful. Especially eyes contact, and timing wonderful. Focus, POV/OOF, colors also great. Nicely composed. Brownish leaves nicely compose BG. Thanks for sharing, best wishes
Ayşegül.
PS: Many thanks for your visiting and welcome wishes.
