Hello Radomir,
This is a fine capture of the front half of a male Sand Lizard, with excellent contrasting BG against its green body. Sharp and well presented. I'm afraid I can't offer any free females!
All our reptiles are protected in Sweden too.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
Hi Radomir
Ah....what a beauty he his! I imagine there is a battle among females for him :))
I must remark however that is rather different from what we have here...especially that the back has pretty much no markings...very interesting. It is also very bright in colors and very vivid...looks much better that the ones we have :))
The photo itself looks great!
I really like the low POV here and the very nice and rather shallow DOF that blurres the BG well.
The sharpness is exceptional and it shows wonderful details and textures on the scales and the eye of this "macho".
Very nice composition and presentation, as well.
Cheers and TFS
Horia
PS: just for fun and for comparison, i added a WS with a male L. a. agilis from the western part of Romania. Have a look ;)

Great photo and very nice workshop from Horia. I also like the low POV. What can I say more: interesting note and links to other photos
God job
Best wishes

What an interesting lizard, Radomir!
My only nit is that the ground as BG has impeded a clear delineation of its outline. Still, it is minor nit and does not affect the real charm of this good looker.
TFS and bye.

Hi Radomir,
Brilliant colours and tack sharp details in this fine portrait of a very colourful subspecies of L. agilis.
It is hard to be so successful in capturing those very agile reptiles. With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
Hello Radomir,
Magnificent capture of this lizard.I liked POV,eye contact, colors and visual impact a lot.Have a great day!
TFS..:-)
Hello,
Very nice close-up of this species. In fact it's not the typical form of L. agilis. It's a clear example of variety erythronota, characteristic for its uniform brown or rufous back. Typical specimen in Poland look more or less similar to that on Horia's picture in the workshop.
Best greetings,
Michal

Nunca tinha visto um lagarto com um verde tão vivo e bonito. O gostei do POV e vc conseguiu um destaque maior para esse lagarto devido ao BG.
PArabéns!!
