[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Polish]
The Black Woodpecker, Dryocopus martius, is a large woodpecker.

It lives in mature forest across the northern palearctic. It is the sole representative of its genus in that region. Its range is expanding in Europe. It does not migrate.

The plumage of this crow-sized woodpecker is entirely black apart from the red crest. Its flight is straight, not dipping like other woodpeckers.

The nest is a tree-hole into which four or more eggs are laid.

Welcome to the site and a good attempt: somethings I noticed:

blurs caused obviously by branches, etc in front of the bird - not easy to get right
bird is not as sharp as it needs to be
good use of the two branches for framing though.
Hope to see more posts from you.

Although the photo is not very sharp I appreciate your attempt. I know how hard it is to approach this bird.
TFS.

Regards,
Zeno.
