Hi Radomir. This is a very good close up of the digger wasp. you have captured it with fine detail and sharp fiocusing. good natural colours. with a nice side on POV. well done TDS. good notes too.

Another great and very interesting macro from you, my dear frined that doesn't like autumn :)
I fint this species very "cool" - especially having those rather bright eyes...i'm used to much darker colors in the eyes of our insects :)
But i guess that's an element that makes this macro such a nice one.
Also, if i'm right, and that there is its hole, it's very interesting to see it's "house". Usually, even in good macro shots, we don't see that part of the insect world (with maybe the exceptions of spiders...which are usually presented on their web), so that too me counts a lot - not only the insect is important here.
Other than that, the details and textures on the wasp are impeccably clear while the colors are lovely.
I'm also impressed ith your flash work here - it's hardly noticeble. It doesn't have that flare and that look of "too bright" patches - like most picutres do - but i'm sure that we all would have noticed something wrong if you didn't use it (hope you know what i mean) :)
So, overall: a gorgeous image!

Hi Radomir.
We had only hot season this summer. Despite the shot is taken in July the colours are cold and amazing at the same time. I see these colours are firm to your camera. They are always clean and rich. Shot is well composed. Diagonal structure of the image is so attractive. As usual. sharpness and details cannot be better. Great close-up picture. My compliments and TFS.

Radomir, this image is life-like, as the cliched saying goes.
As a matter of fact, this picture gives one the impression as if one is lying prone on the ground and looking at this wasp from a close distance. I'm sure you must have taken this shot from a similar position.

Yet another excellent insect shot from you from a very low POV. How do you do it - do you lie flat on the ground, do you use a mini tripod?? This is really excellent. I like that big eye and details are very sharp. You've caught it in a very fine pose by its hole. Interesting note too.

Superb capture of a digger wasp, a species that I have not seen in Sweden.

How can you don't like autumn? It is my favorite season :)! I have heard about those insects and your post is much interesting as we see it in action. Details are very good and so are composition, exposure and POV. This wasp has the most beautiful eyes I have never seen on a wasp :) Well done!

Hi Radomir,
This is a very good macro!
I like the proper focus on the insect and all the details caught on it.
It's textures and colours are displayed so good, specially the big green eye and the light reflected on the wings.
You did a great job with the fill flash.
The frame and presentation gets the best of the subject and the image in general.

I want to stress the point that you present such interesting insects I have rarely ever seen. And your notes are already legendary, they add to the quality of the picture. Je découvre ta galerie à l'occasion de ta visite sur la mienne. Tes publications sont à l'opposée des miennes car pour l'instant les insectes me sont beaucoup trop difficiles à photographier et surtout à répertorier !!!
