Its called an Ichneumonid Wasp but I've no idea how it should be pronunced either.
We get exactly the same ones over here.
They look kinda freaky don't they ?
A nice little quartet of photos here.
I like the to right one the best.

SZCZERKLINA PIASKOWA! Dobrze? ;)
Hehehe! Widze, ze Wacpan kontynuje blonkowkowa "sage" z Lodzi. I bardzo dobrze! Swietny collage i rewelacyjne fotki, szczegolnie portret mi sie podoba :)
Szkoda tylko, ze ten osobnik jest bez gasienicy :)
Serdecznie pozdrawiam,
Radek

Fabulous collage of this little creature. And it's interesting to note the similarities in the features on top of the head compared to my paper wasp. Do you have any idea what purpose those bumps serve?
Great posting

Hi Grzegorz.
I like your amazing collage. It combines two cute close-up and two true macro shots. Excellent presentation of this insect by perfectly taken pictures. I am impressed with sharpness and details of all pictures, excellent composition and impressive POV. Well done and best regards.
Alexei.
