[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
November is very dark and sad month in Poland. Everything is dead, rotten and brown. Different shades of brown colours are sign of our late autumn. If winter is monochromatic in our country, this season will be brownomatic :-) Last weekend I went to Zdrowie Park to look for something alive. As every year in late november only fungi live in forest. Rest of creatures sleep or rest in peace. Today small example of what I found during my trip. As you can see most of fungi grow rather on dead wood then on ground. Also most of them prefere autumnal trendy colours - brown, dark brown, light brown and very very very light brown [white :-)]. I'm afraid next three months or so, they'll be my only subjects of photography...

Enjoy!

OOOOH !
Lots of lovely funguses !
I've been waiting for your autumn.
(I guess Felipe will be posting fungi soon too)
Autumn and winters not so bad Greg.
Better than that dumb old summer sun.
I mean,surfings ok I guess,but in winter
you get to play in the snow,or stay in bed and play playstation all day. You've got to make the most of the seasons whatever they are. You can't change them after all can you ;)
Cheers
Steve
(ps ... look forward to seeing lots more funguses ... find some weird ones for me)

Witam Grzesiu!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
Radek

Hi Greg

There are enough fungi here to die for, to go delirious, to experience psychedelic hallucinations, or to have a feast on (that is of course should one decide to eat these beauties). This is an incredible number of specimens covering a wide range of species to discover during a weekend trip. Although the hues mostly represent "autumnal trendy colours" (as you've put it) it still is a potpourri of lovely colours. To say the least, a very impressive collage for sure.

Every shot in this collection is a dazzle of well saturated colours, excellent compositions, sharp details, and each one really deserves a full framed posting in its own right. Simply stunning work.

Very well done and TFS.

Best regards
Loot

Thanks very much for your collage MF, it is much appreciated.
Here we are having a extremely dry autumn this year, so few fungi around. Nevertheless, and as you know I am very busy, just arrived now from "work"... things are begining to look better :)
Thanks again for your colourful approach, beautiful.
Best regards, Felipe.

Hello Grzegorz,
Many, many thanks for this wonderful collage that makes me really happy to look at! I think it's the warm colours, the interesting shapes and the feeling of being deep in the forest that affects me! Details are very sharp and you've selected them and put them together really well. Great work!
Best wishes, Ulla
