Hello Krzysztof
I have seen this wonderful Orange Tips flying about but I have not seen one basking in the sun.
Photographically all is technically close to perfection, the only 2 downsides being the shadow on the left wing and the right wing is slightly oof, I say this but I know how hard it is to control the dof on the camera you are using.

Hi Chris,
A nice capture of this orange tip with open wings. At first I thought the left wing has abnormal colors. Then realised it is the shadow. Good details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

very beautiful butterfly gracefully spreading its wings, good capture. i was wondering about some difference in markings on its forewings and on closer look i realize that its shadow of the leaf, so intriguing. tfs.

It is a pleasure to see this well captured image of an Orange Tip with its beautiful wings open, Chris.
I like the shadow of a leaf forming a deceptive pattern on one of the wings.

Hello Krzysztof,
A fine open-wing portrait of the Orange Tip, even though the sharp shadow of the leaf on one of the wing tips is a pity.
It is sharp and taken with excellent light management.
They are flying with us now but refuse to settle for me to take a shot!

Hi Krzysztof.
You are happier photographer. I only saw this species but you have amazing shot of it. Fantastic exactness of exposure and colour/texture reproduction. Sharpness of the butterfly image is great as well as wingspread of the butterfly and selected by you POV. I also like rich surroundings created by fine leaves. Darkness of the BG is perfect for light beauty. My kind wishes and compliments. Perfect job.
