This image is of course dedicated for my friend Laszlo :-) Thank you for your hard work and time with identyfiing lots of my fungi! I hope that you can ID also this one :-)

Picture taken in Botanic Garden [what a surprise :-)] in end of June. I walked around few exotic trees and suddenly spotted this beautiful fungus. It so looks amazing that I couldn't resist and touched it. It was too velvet :-) As a very small bonus you can see three small insects? Proturans? Collembola? hidden around left and central parts of fungus.

Pojedyncze juz widzialem ale taka kolonie jeszcze nie.Swietna ostrosc ,cudowne kolory.Bardzo dobra prezentacja z ktorej sie Laszlo napewno bedzie cieszyc.Pozdrawiam Siggi

Good use of flash to bring up some excellent detail on this Auricularia auriculae-judae. The green background compliments the velvety bowns of the fungus perfectly.

Hi Greg. I sould love to see this Botanic Garden one day . You seem to find so many different things to take picture of. I like the shapes in the fungi which you haave taken with good detail and rich colours. It stands out so well from the green moss. on the tree. well done TFS.

Czesc,
Ucho bzowe to rzeczywiscie niesamowity grzyb - a do tego jadalny. Zdaje sie ze grzyby Mun to cos mocno pokrewnego jest. Jesli chodzi o te owady to sa to skoczogonki (Collembola), najprawdopodobniej z rodzaju Orchesella. Piekne zwierzeta choc bardzo male, na jakims forum widzialem niesamowite makro, ktore ktos im zrobil.

A ty spedzasz lato w miescie, czy wyjezdzasz na jakis urlop? Sierpien ponoc bedzie ladny...
