Another picture from my last butterfy trip. This time it's Lasiommata maera - quite large butterfly (the wingspan up to 50 mm) from family Nymphalidae.

It's rather shy species - I've taken a lot of pictures but only few of them are good enough to view. This species is available on forest borders, clearings and sometimes even inside the forest. It doen't like open spaces but preffers shadows of the trees.

Hi Chris ! Very nice shot of this butterfly, that I never saw before. It has exactly the same color as the floor, excellent camouflage. Details, colors and composition are excellent, as well as the blurred BG with tender colors. Very well done !

Great macro shot. Well done sharpness foreground and blurred background. Excellent colours. But what do you think about illuminating (slightly) the object of the shooting by flash. Approximately how I have tried to make it by means PS.
