The family Arctiidae is not good represented on Trek Nature I think. I've decided to change it ;-)
The picture presents Buff Ermine - quite nice representant of this family. The maximum wingspan is 40 mm. The males and the females looks similiar.

The moths are on the fly in June and July. This species is wide spread in whole Europe.

The caterpilars can be found between July and August on Urtica, Rumex, Plantago and Taraxacum.

Witaj Chris,
Interesting shape of the anthenas, look like horns from a distance. Not superbly sharp but nice, perhaps fine hairs on head and body parts give 'soft' sense perceived by our eyes. Nicely framed.

Hello Chris,
very good details on this moth. Its colors arise very well on this green bottom.
Thank you,
Arnaud.

Bonjour,
Papillon rarement vu. Merci pour la nouveauté.
Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
pleasant presentation of this pretty little moth with its soft wings. Subtle natural colours that come out well in a dim and indirect light. Very good details, too, that do not look oversharpened but just all right.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
