Very impressive picture, the POV gives a good feel for the massive appearance of his insect. It is a cerambycid (longhorn) beetle, Prionus coriarius, male, I believe.

Yes, the ID is OK. The biggest Polish beetle I believe! Larvae live in decaying wood. TFS!
