[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another yellow vetch photo Vicia grandiflora Scop. (Fabaceae family). In Poland, this species is an anthropophyte (synanthropic plant).

I'd like to present you effect of changing flower color during the flowering time. In this vetch species, flowers change their color gradually from 'dirty' yellow to pale rose. On the photograph five flowers from one plant are presented. Curiosity: Polish common name of this vetch species is connected with early color -- wyka brudnozolta means something like dirty-yellow vetch.

Starościn village, Lubuskie Lakeland, Poland.

Hello Michal
Looking at this picture I am thinking at Mendel's work. It is a good colage and tribute to the man who discovered genetics.
Interesting variability in flower color. Well done!
