| Dotted gentian (Gentiana punctata L.) I - met this plant wandering on peak load mountain Pilsko in Beskid Zywiecki. He was her more individuals. It is then the species of perennial plant. It steps out in mountains of south and median Europe, in Alps it is common plant. It blooms in half of July. Inflorescence is hermaphroditic about dirtily yellow colour. Whole spotted with irregularily villainous, small spots clearly corolla. Post about long neck, surrounded with many anther. Inflorescence be pollinated by bumble-bees. It is plant protected. |

I think that Ori has right, resemble much more with Veratrum than with Gentiana lutea. The leaves have parallel veins, characteristic for monocotiledonous plants, and Veratrum is belonging to Liliaceae family, a monocot.And also, G. lutea is not a plant that you can meet often in the mountains, is really rare.
