Hi Robert,
good photo but the ID is wrong.
Mycena galericulata (Scopoli 1772) Gray 1821 is very different, lighter, without red colours, with shorter streaks on the surface of the cap, with adge of the cap soon horizontal.
You can see for example:

Your photo shows specimens clearly red, with cap very striate, conical to parabolical; they are Mycena haematopus (Persoon 1800) Kummer 1871.
Its main caracteristic is the stalk exuding a dark blood-red juice when cut.

Very similar is Mycena sanguinolenta (Albertini & Schweiniz 1805) Kummer 1871 but it has different cap and different microscopical features.
