Very nice close up, as always perfect detail, colours and clarity, just how I like it :)
You should have posted a full body workshop for ident, maybe it is a Xylaria polimorpha, a very interesting specie, quite common here, but I have never found one. Thanks for sharing.

Fajna fotka!
Chyba widzialam cos takiego w tym roku.
Detale i swiatlo bardzo dobre, ale nie jestem pewna co do kadru. Wydaje mi sie ze korzystniejszt bylby kadr pionowy i pokazanie calego grzyba.
Ale ogolnie ciekawa fotka.

Pięny portret hehe. To prawdopodobnie Xylaria longipes (albo też Trichoglossum hirsutum, niestety nie widać po samej główce) ;-) Niesamowita ostrość!

Hello Robert, good shot. I've seen these before but was never happy with the ID. I like this though, it looks like a minature easter island sculpture! Well done.
