brzegówka (riparia riparia) to najmniejsza z europejskich jaskółek. Wygrzebuje nory długie na 50-60 cm w urwiskach ziemnych na brzegu rzeki, w żwirowniach lub śródpolnych skarpach, gdzie w okresie od połowy maja do lipca wyprowadza jeden lub dwa lęgi.
