[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Redstarts are immediately identifiable by their bright orange-red tails, which they often quiver. Breeding males look smart, with slate grey upper parts, black faces and wings, and an orange rump and chest. Females and young are duller. Redstarts 'bob' in a very robin-like manner, but spend little time at ground level. It is included on the Amber List as species with unfavourable conservation status in Europe where it is declining.

Hi Marcin. You have taken a first class close up of this Redstart. I bird i have yet to capture. i like the pose with its head turned to one side. Fine detail and colours. with good use of the light. well ldone TFS.

Witaj Marcinie,
Mialem okazje obserwowac tego ptaka tj. rodzice karmiace mlode po opuszczeniu gniazda ale dobra fotka udala sie tylko dla samiczki.Podoba mi sie swiatlo, czysty BG w ladnym odcieniu i mila poza tego wdziecznego ptaszka.

What a beauty! Maybe the composition is a bit too much centred, but the rest of the photo is excellent! Pose, sharpness, details, light, contrasting and clear colours, OOF BG and POV, they are all superb.
