This is my another meeting with this wonderfull moth. It's available in wole Europe but it's rather local and it's not easy to find it.
If you'll find the forst where this species occurs - you can easy find the males: they flies very fast. In my opinion the males looks like drunk drivers ;-D
Much harder is to find a female - the body of females is heavy so females not flies so good. All the specimens I've found were sitting on the bark of trees.
This picture presents a female in typical position on the bark. I hope you'll like it.

My previous pictures of the same specie syou can find:
here and here.

salut Chris,
j'aime beaucoup la composition mais malheureusement la netteté n'y est pas. Dommage car vraiment tout le reste est bon.

Hi crhis
Great shot of this small brown moth.
Excellent POV details and BG
TFS and see you

Hi Christopher,

very nice find. i never found a female... even if i wander all day long. and i think for 2 weeks i see males every days... but no female.

pity that is not in perfect focus, your focus is just a little in the front ... can be seen that on the bark.

but maybe tomorow, or day after tomorow...:)
TFS,
cosmln

p.s. this is another drunker

Great capture of this beautiful moth, Chris!!
I like a lot the point of view and composition, with those beautiful wings upon that beautiful blurred bg, and the rough bark on the left.
A superb job.
Congratulations and TFS.
Greetings
Maite

A beautiful shot of this moth, good composition and excellent background. However, the image could be a little sharper, I have created a workshop:)

Hello Chris,
Very nice capture of this moth. It looks as if it is just ready to fly off. Sharp details and nice natural colour. I like the composition and the soft background.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
