Sphingidae are my favourite moth family. All of the species are real beautiful. I've met this one at the small lake near Kórnik in Poland.
All Sphingidae are strongly atracted by light, so it's quite easy to find them near street lamp.
You can find Pine Hawk-moth in pine forests - the caterpilars feeds on the "needles" on trees. Also the caterpilara are very attractive. I hhope you'll like this picture ;-) |

These moths are very difficult to find for their excellent camouflage if they don't move.
