Nastrosz polpawik (Smerinthus ocellatus)
Zdjecie jeszcze z czasow obozu entomologicznego w Spale. Byl to tak naprawde poczatek mojej "przygody" z entomologia, a nawet w jakims stopniu i zdjeciami makro. :)
Widzac po raz pierwszy tego zawisaka pomyslalem po prostu - ale cudo. Wspaniale ubarwiony, do tego lekko tajemniczy w swoim wygladzie. :)
Kadr moze i dziwny jak na zdjecie makro ale nie zawsze musi byc klasycznie, prawda?

Trudno sie nie zgodzic z tym co piszesz, entomologiczne fotki nie zawsze powinny byc tylko dokumentem, troche artystycznej wizji nie zaszkodzi :)
A to zdjecie jest artystyne, ze hej! Przemyslane, dobrze zakomponowane i wykonane. Naprawde niezle! A do tego ten tytul! Przyciaga uwaga i o to przeciez chodzi :)

Hello Paul,
a wonderful idea, this head-on shot. All photographers including me are so smitten by the phantastic eyes on the wings that it never occurred to us (me) to make a portrait like you did. In your case the eyes are just thrown in as a out-of-focus supplement! Your title is funny and to the point. Well done!

I did a workshop where I cleared up the dark parts of the picture in PS. See whether you like the version (Copyright remains with you, don't worry). Unfortunately I lost some of the contrast, I should have compensated for this in PS. Well, it's just experimenting anyway.
