maité semble dans le vrai avec son identification,pour ma par sur mon livre je n'ai que l'argynnis paphia autrement apellé tabac d'espagne!
même si l'identification n'est pas exacte la photo elle est tres bonne et c'est ce qui compte.

En français on l'appelle Tabac d'Espagne (Argynnis paphia). Belle présentation en diagonale. Par contre je n'aime pas beaucoup le cadre, question de goût personnel.

Very nice sharp shot, nicely composed with great light and natural colors. I dont like the "cloudy" frame.

It is not A. pandora it is a female of Argynnis paphia (valesina form)

Wonderful capture of thé Silverwashed Fritillary in a fine pose on the white Buddleia flower. Excellent sharp details and very beautiful colours, I like how the green on the wing shows up so well. Smooth background and a very fine composition.

après avoir lu les divers commentaires sur l'identification de ton papillon, je me rends compte qu'il soulève des passions.
Pour ma part, je serais réservé, car souvent il faut pouvoir observer les 2 faces du papillon pour le déterminer avec précision.
Donc il peut être :
- un Argynnis pandora mâle, si le revers de ces ailes postérieures est vert, et celui des ailes antérieurs est rose carmin.
ou , un Argynnis paphia femelle, si le revers des ailes postérieures est verdâtre avec des bandes transversales argentées.
Ensuite reste à savoir s'il vole en Pologne.???
Je sais seulement que l' Argynnis Pandora ne vole pas en Belgique.

Bonjour Jean Michel,
C'est une superbe espèce que tu as capturé ici. Je ne suis pas certaine de son identité mais il ressemble à certains papillons que j'ai déjà photographiés. Les détails sont superbes dans une excellente composition. À moins que je ne me trompe, je crois que la dominante de la couleur verte est un peu trop prononcée mais je peux me tromper :) Bien vu! Superb capture of a female Argynnis paphia. The angle on the forewing makes it shine green but the green female form valesina is darker.
This is sharp and well composed on the white buddleia flower.

Hello Jean Michel,
beautiful composition of a female Argynnis paphia on Buddleia blossoms. Clear details, subtle colours. The green iridescence looks delicious. The addition of artificial 3D borders looks a bit overpowering and distracting to me, and consuming a lot of precious pixel space. That beautiful shot would deserve to be presented maximum size on its own.
