Hi Greg. This sounds just like a Nuthatch. They make me think of a higway man with a black stripe over the eye as amask. Anyway you have used the light so well which has given warm colours and fine detail in the feathers. A very good pOV/DOF. well done TFS.

A funny title and note to a fine close capture of a European Nuthatch taken from a great frontal POV with excellent sharpness and lighting against a pleasing neutral Bg. In fact I can't fault it: it's a great shot and fine portrait of the species.

Hey, you have exactly the same bird as me ! It's a very beautiful one, indeed, and for me he is even more beautiful as I saw him for the first time after two years of looking for him. Fajne ujecie. Nie przypominam sobie tych ptakow z przed lat jak mieszkalem w Poslce ale widac ze odpowienik tutejszego Nuthatch'a radzi sobie calkiem niezle. Super kolory. Pozrawiam.

Hi Greg,

This is an excelent photo with the nuthatch in a vey fine pose. You have chosen a very good POV showing the bird from a very fine perspective. Image quality is very high from being rasor sharp to very nice warm colors. The bird is very well seen on the blurry background.

A fine Nuthatch portrait from a low POV Grzegorz, the sharp image reveals its plumage and colouration characteristics perfectly against a neutral BG. TFS this beautiful image my friend.
