[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,

I must say it is my first b&w post in TN and it is experimental post (I'm not even sure if anyone will spend his time to look at B&W photos), I don't remember to see any (maybe few) black and white photographs of nature in this side, maybe because colours are so beautiful and always makes positive reaction in viewers.

I've decided to present old-fashioned look at nature. For me black and white photos have something unique that colourful doesn't... some specific mood. I wonder what do You think of it? I will be greatful for any comments as well as criticques.

Forest shot was taken few days ago during my walk near Olsztyn. Original size, just desaturated, contrast and brightness operated, resized and resharpened.

And I hope You will like this.

Hi Adrian!

Be sure that I will look at all black and white postings with great interest. I personally don't practise this technique, but I have a great respect for those who use it.

Your subject suits a b&w conversion very well. Indeed, simple and uniform or very architectural subjets are ideal for it. Your forest with the vertical lines is superb.

Kind regards

Markus

Hy Adrian
You are right when you said that the colours are beautiful, but sometimes, experiments are welcomed. Like this b-w picture in the forest. In this times when the trees are not yet green, I think this approach is worth it. Maybe the tree in the foreground has too many branches and obstructs the vertical pattern, but in the rest I like it! Well done!

I like this in B&w, very fitting subject matter for it, nice composition, the highlights in that one cloud is blown, but is a minor thing

Czesc Adrian!

Masz racje - jakos tak w fotografii przyrodniczej rzadko mozna spotkac czarno-biale ujecia. To akurat bardzo mi sie podoba, chociaz z kolorami wygladaloby pewnie duzo weselej. Swietna ostrosc i kontrasty.

Witam
Widzę że przedstawiłeś szarą polską rzeczywistość :)
Ciekawa perspektywa trochę wygląda abstrakcyjnie.
Dobrze że wiosna zmierza wielkimi krokami.
Bardzo dobra praca.
Serdeczności

Hi Adrian:
Although I was born when there B & N, the Photographs of nature and vegetation, especially I like more color. But this photo taken from the forest bottom-up has a special force that makes it attractive for this reason I have to admit that I like this work.
Greetings
