Zaskroniec zwyczajny (Natrix natrix) – gatunek niejadowitego węża z rodziny połozowatych (Colubridae). Samica jest większa od samca i osiąga średnio długość od 85 do 120 cm (wyjątkowo 2 m), a samiec od 70 do 100 cm. Żywią się żabami, traszkami, rybami lub drobnymi gryzoniami. W niewoli zaskrońce żyją do 15 lat.
Te zostały sfotografowane nieopodal stawu w Parku w dzielnicy Sosnowca - Kazimierz Górniczy.
