[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Large Copper (Lycaena dispar) is a European butterfly of the family Lycaenidae. The British subspecies of this butterfly (dispar) has been extinct for over 144 years (since 1864). Most of our knowledge of its life cycle and ecology comes from studies of the similar subspecies (batavus or batava) found in The Netherlands. The species can be identified by the silvery hindwing undersides, from the large specimens of the related, more common, drier habitat species Lycaena virgaureae and Lycaena hippothoe.

Hi Pawel !
Wróciłem!
Doskonałe połowy tego odtwarzacza.
Brilliant kolorów, doskonały kontrast.
Proste, gratulacje.
Życzę pięknego dnia,
Adrian

Hi Pawel,
Absolutely stunning colours, and very fine details on the body and antennae. A pity that the depth of field at f/8 is not quite enough to keep the same sharp focus on the wing margins. I will put this in my favourites, for reference of this species. TFS.

Hello Pawel.
Beautiful photo of this Large Copper. The contrasting and clear colours are splendid. Nice isolation from the OOF BG. Good sharp focus on the head and antennae.
Regards,
Peter

Hello Pawel
optimal the focusing on the plant and the Lycaena dispar body, with wonderful red color wings: it very well puts in prominence the two subjects regarding the background, with optimally balanced tonalities and light.

Hello Pawel,
An excellent capture of a male Scarce Copper ( Lycaena virgaureae). The white spots on the underside of the hindwing confirms the ID.
Superb sharpness and colours and taken from a great POV showing both surfaces of the wings.
This one is early: they usually start in July.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Hi Pwel.
I think title is precise. Yu have reflected amazing colouration of the butterfly perfectly. At whole combination of bright red colour and delicate green BG are wonderful. I also impressed with details of the butterfly and pleasant blurriness of the BG. Your shot supplements the picture taken by Marx Kol excellently. My kind regards.
Alexei.
