[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the most spectacular European true bugs - assassin bug Rhinocoris iracundus. It's probably hunting, sitting on sage flower. This insect is quite fast flying, with characteristic sound, which helps to find it ;-)
The rostrum (beak) is only partially visible, but i have no better picture yet...
Post-processing - crop, sharpen and white balance.

Nice one Marek, well worth sharing , the details are very good, if there was to be a small nit it would be the bright edge of the salvia petal which could be darkened just a fraction so it does not attract the eye so much. Otherwise it shows a lot of detail TFS

No tak, nie mow jeszcze, ze zrobiles go na lace obok nas ;-) Poluje na takiego od dluzszego czasu ale bez powodzenia. Podoba mi sie poza pluskwiaka - zlapany w momencie przelazenia z kwaitka na kwiatek jak i kolory.
