What a nice family of mushroom that you have well captured ! Great colors, exposure and sharpness. Congratulations Piotr and thanks for sharing.
Hi Piotr,
good photo, congratulation, but, if you let me, I think this isn't Armillaria mellea (Vahl 1790) Kummer 1871, it don't resemble that specie in some macroscopical features.
Armillaria mellea (Vahl 1790) Kummer 1871 always has yellow colour on the ring (your specimens doesn't show that) and different decorations on the surface of the cap.
I think this is Armillaria ostoyae (Romagnesi 1970) Herink 1973, very common especially in mountain and very often confused with Armillaria mellea. Its main macroscopical feature is the brown edge of the white ring, like your photo shows; also the decoration on the cap are typical.
When did you find it, which altitude ?

Hello Piotr,
That's a really nice photo, everything works: composition, exposure and focus are excellent. Wonderful image!
The mushrooms look very different than what we call Armillaria mellea here in the USA. I think we might be putting the name on 2 different things. Overall, the Armillarias are a difficult group to identify accurately, and the popular field guides often contradict each other.
Thanks,
John
