The ancient power that sleeps in these animals in unbelievable. They are so strong, fast and powerful. However they seem as the most lazy of all, unless they are frightened they will not do anything. However when they charge, oh God speed me, they are fast, and the fumes that come out of their nosedrills are scary.
However they are very beautiful to look at, and it is a shame that they are slowly disapearing from Europe.
I hope they stay. We all love them in Poland.
Anyways all the best wishes, and I hope that this encouraged you to pack your bags and go to Poland :-)
The only thing that I am not so pleased about is the lighting, it could have been better, that is why I could not magnify the face of the buffalo, or as we call them in Poland 'ZUBR', for although the shutter speed was very long, and the animals did not move throughtout this time, or at least this is what is seemed like, because in matter of fact they did move, and that is why. |

Hi Arthur,
The overall composition is good. I like the colors too. Yet is a little bit moved and without depht of field. You probably crope it from a larger photo. There are some cases when you can use full flash in daylight condition to improve an inconvenient angle, or enforce a rather dull overcast daylight.
The use of flash helps you to reduce the exposure time, therfore you get rid of the "moving subject" problem. Well, there are many things to write about this subject...
