[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The picture have been taken this morning. We had quite heavy snow few days ago and now everything is covered with it. Some trees very broken, some only bent under the weight of snow.
On the picture you can see birches bent to the ground. These are quite big trees. I think you can realize that looking at the right corner of the picture. There is a 3m wide road there.
The forest is really beautiful now, though the bent and broken trees look quite sad.
Anyway, I hope we will have white Christmas this year. I really can't imagine this special time without snow.

Probably you've noticed that I didn't post anything for some time. It's because I'm quite busy these days with my studies and some much more nice things. I have feeling something very important is happening in my live :)

Anyway, the photo I post today is an occasion to wish you all very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year :)

He, he, I know this place - looks like Poniatowski Park :-)

Merry Christmas Monika!

VERY interesting note by the way :-)

Monika, The scene is beautiful but we do not see things like that here in Florida, thank heavens. Winter, it is a nice place to visit but I would not want to live in it. We are having a cold front here right now, only 68 degrees yesterday but should be mid 70's by Christmas day. Love your photos.
Kathleen

Hi Monika,
I see, you had as much snow as we had.
A lot of work to do on the streets.
But also wonderful to look at this winter-wonderland. Hope, there are not so much trees broken. A wonderful shot for the Christmas-season, thank you very much.
I wish you pretty Christmas-days and all the best for 2006, may all your wishes come true, bye

Hello Monika, a lovely winter scene. I love how the weight of the snow has bent the branches over. I think you've done a great job on the exposure and it's a very nice composition.

Have a Great Christmas and I hope you have many more nice things to come.

Very adequate post. It's time for white landscapes, sleigh bell sounds and children laughs.

Monika, great "snowscape". I've never seen snow.

I like your picture.

Great sharpness details and exposure.

Excellent note too.

A beautiful image Monika, I love this one because of the arching branches on the left. The exposure is excellent. I have only seen snow three times in my life, so this sort of shot always attracts my attention.
As I just said to Gert, its 7pm here 80km south of Sydney and 43C. I'm sweating and your freezing, what a contrast.

Hope your 'important' event goes well for you.

Happy New Year
Chris

Hi Monika...
A very beautiful winter landscape! I love the lines and the graphical effect here... Could be anywhere around my place too...

Pablo -
