Just another picture of smiling dragonfly.

It's amazing how lovely these creatures appear to look only because they have a kind of smile on their faces.

This is a female of Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) photographed in my garden on a lovely summer day. I think the smile and quite interesting pose makes it look really happy.

Very nice close up of this S.sanguineum. Only contrast is a bit over the top.

Good macro, sorry in a rush.

Hi Monika, again a very good photo. The only comment I have is that your f/stop could have been a little higher. The wings etc would then also have been in focus. I know that dragonflies are very difficult to photograph because they have the best eye sight of all and as soon as your focus is set they move. Otherwise all technicalities except the focus very good.
