Very good macro Pawel.
Very nice colours and compostion,
good details and a nice spider web.
Very well done.

Very good catch, Pawel. Good exposure, perfect neutral background, and a special mention to the light enhancing the net. IMO, the DOF is a bit short. A smaller aperture (f/8, or so) and a tripod would have corrected this. The argiope is not an insect, but belongs to the Arachnida (araneae) order, as all spiders. This one belongs to the orbitele family and is a female. But your shot is very good. It's been added to the theme.

Great macro Pawel . The colours are exquisite. Good job

I love the colour and patterns on this spider. (Remember, spiders have eight legs...insects only have six)
A good shot, with good light levels. Could possibly sharpen, just a little.

Not only acts but it also looks like a tiger ! A larger depth of field and you shouldnt have sacrificed the upper right part in blur ...

WOW ! 10 points for the picture, Very very nice i like the color and light, good focus and perfect frame, a great capture!
Well done Pawel,

Good view of this amazing spider Pawel. not sure but the web and the lefthand legs look sharper than the body and right legs, as though the body and right legs are in front of the Point of Focus (POF), I find that I need to use single point light metering (if available to you)it seems to help the camera deside where you want it to focus. hope this is of help.

Nice shot, good detail, well brured background and natural colours. I would have tryed a bigger detail with a vertical tighter crop, it looks sharp. Thanks.

Swietny portret Tygrzyka! Bardzo ladne, wyraziste i nasycone kolory. Podoba mi sie tez szczegolowosc pajeczyny.

Great shot, Pawel. You are bringing some nice spiders to the site. My only nit with this shot is the DOF. If you used a smaller aperture setting like F8 instead of F4.7 I think all of those legs would be in focus.

Did you use a tripod?

Good shot Pawel, I think you need a larger depth of field here to get all the spider in focus. Still, it is very nice and a very good looking spider.

Points tomorrow.
