So this is a psychedelic butterfly with changing wing colours Greg? How exciting for you, and you do show him well. I like the yellow bands it has on its arms too, quite different! Good shot my friend.
16C here and when the sun is out it gets even warmer!

I find one side of its wings brown and the other blue, Greg. Maybe something to do with my laptop monitor. How I hate these screens, but what to do? You can't carry your desktops with you! I am in transit at the moment, heading towards India.
Maybe because of the dual colours I can see in this butterfly, I guess I like it better that way.
Take care and bye.

At first I thought it was David Bowie´s butterfly :)
I have seen this changing textures on common blues or small buttelflies, but not a blue reflection on a brown middle sized like this one. My first time too.
And quality is not that bad... what I am not sure if it was your cam or your hand what did not work well over 40şC :DD
Reagards. :)

Hello Greg,
I've seen them too but they are really difficult to capture. They visit my pond for water but when you get a little closer they quickly fly away. I'm impressed that you managed to capture it. I'm impressed with your courage of going outside in this heat too ;-)
VERY WELL DONE!
