Hi
Here is the picture of Crocus scepusiensis. This species belongs to Liliopsida.
As it grows only in some parts of Poland (Tatra mountains, lower parts of Babia Góra and West Beskidy and in nature reserve in Izerskie mountains) it is protected by law.
During spring, when the snow just go out, meadows in Tatras (especially Kościeliska and Chchołowska meadows) are covered with these flowers. It looks wonderful. However, these places are very popular among tourists, so there is always a lot of people who wants to see the flowers. So if you wish to see them without the crowd it is good to go to Gorce mountains. The meadows close to Turbacz (1310 m) are also full of this species, so you can enjoy it in peace.

Hi Ania,
I like this shot a lot. Light, details, color and composition are wonderful. The carefully chosen pov lets see the background without disturbs the main subject.
