Hello Chris,
The slight softness of this shot of a female Common Blue is compensated by the suitable background and colour contrast with the flower. I might have cropped it so the the butterfly was more to the right of centre, but otherwise a fine shot.

Hello Chris,
a nice picture of this female icarus with sharp details of the head, antenna and the legs. The non-disturbing background does not distract from the butterfly, the plant and their interaction.

Hello Chris,

This is another beautiful capture from you! I like both the butterfly and the flower.
The composition is simple and efficient, just the way I like it to be. Maybe I would crop a bit from the right side of the picture but this is a minor point. The background is fantastic and emphasizes the Common Blue very well.
The colors and contrast are well adjusted and I like the way they stand out from the green background. Exposure was also well controlled and the details look very good in both shadows and highlight. The shadows are very soft which makes me think the sky was overcast. Well done! Thanks!

Hi Chris,
Wonderful shot of this beautiful Common Blue with such lovely colours and sharp details. Superb lighting and exposure and a precise DOF isolates it from the smooth BG perfectly. I like the classical pose too. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kudos.
