I was looking for the id on this one, and when I saw it I rushed to get the id... but no luck :(
I agree it looks from the cortinarius genus, but I can find the correct specie.
As always great quality, DOF and exposure are great, greens look a bit too saturated on my monitor.

Hi Robert,
I can help you about the correct ID. This is Cortinarius flexipes (Persoon 1801) Fries 1838. You can find several photos in internet, so you can compare them with your two specimens. Its synonymous are Cortinarius paleifer Svrcek 1968 and Cortinarius paleaceus sensu auct. p.p.
Another mysterious specie is Cortinarius paleaceus (Weinmann) Fries 1838, maybe different, but nobody knows exactly how it is.
