Hello Grzegorz
Excellent macro and very funny idea. Really good sharpness and very nice colours. And yes, it does bring some good memories from the film.
I took the liberty to make a WS adding some more "look a like" the environment from the film and make it look even more like Saurons Eye - please forgive me but I could not help it.

This shot is certainly an eyeful!
Brilliant creativity in finding a different way to photograph Joe Frog.
Pin sharp, rich colours and great composition showing both your skill and attention to detail in taking the shot and in PP.
Congrats on this one Grzegorz!

Hi Grzegorz
This is sure a unique way to depict a frog’s eye. Creative and artistic at the same time.
The 90° composition works extremely well and this time one can even see more of the surround trees and environment where you took the photo. The colours are beautiful, the details are brilliantly sharp, and the exposure control was spot-on.
Good work and TFS.

Hi Grzegorz,
I love this. I can't imagine how you got such a sharply focused macr of a frog without glueing his feet down. The color is perfect, and except for the blown out highlight, the exposure is very good.
I have been shooting some frogs in my yard, and I have begun to suspect that the black and gold pattern in the eyes can be used like finger prints to identify specific individuals.

It really does look quite like Sauron's eye! ;)
The sharpness here is excellent and the colors and contrast are outstanding!...but, actually...there's no neet for tech talk on this one either...just sit back and anjoy it...and maybe watch the movie again :)
Fantastic job, Greg!

Cheers!.

An unusual macro Greg with pleasant reflection and beautiful and marked details of the eye of the amphibian.
The very tight framing collaborates with the "dramatization" of the scene together with the appropriate achieved bottom.
An avant-garde presentation, of those that like or not... and personally I like it a lot.
Cheers!.

If you had not revealed the source, I would have suggested this image for TL, Greg :-)!
Such a mammoth close-up of the frog's eye and that too rotated 90 degrees is bound to look somewhat abstract. However, in that, precisely, lies its appeal.
Warm regards,
Ram

Hi, Greg
An imaginative take on the subject, and I appreciate the effort involved to get a reflected landscape rather than a photographer mirrored in the subject's eye. The rotated forest is a little unsettling ;)

Hi Greg
Perfect title! Great macro. Well done!
