[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sculpture made by snow and wind on the basis of spruce (Picea abies).
The picture was taken at the slopes of the Pilsko (1557 m) massiv in Beskid Żywiecki mountains. The slopes are covered with mixed forests of the lower storey of vegetation, above them there are coniferous forests of the upper storey of vegetation. The highest parts of the massiv are covered with dwarf mountain pine (Pinus mugo). You can see them covered wiith snow in the picture in workshop.

Picture was cropped, has changed levels and finally sharpen.

I love all the different textures and it is really impressive.
The contrast is great and the mastering of light fantastic.

Bardzo ciekawa i oryginalna kompozycja z dobrym doswietleniem (nie przeswieltone zdjecie co przy fotografowaniu tak jasnych plaszczyzn nie jest znow takie proste) i glebia ostrosci.
Swoja droga ciekawe, ze przy takim obciazeniu sniegiem to drzewo sie nie polamalo...

Hi Ania
On the ski hills here we call these trees Snow Ghosts, they are so beautiful dressing in white. I love all the textures and shadows in the snow. Very pretty.

That is really some sticky snow. I don't think I have ever seen that much snow on one tree. It is amazing and your exposure on all that snow is perfect. I doubt that your exposure was 30 seconds as indicated above. : )
