Very interesting subject! I appreciate these shots that shows the details of an insect's lifes! Very interesting and informative! Look at that secure silk or something else! Hallo Paulo,
I'm particularly interested in butterfly life cycles, so I very welcome this nice picture of a tightly attached machaon pupa. Immature stages are in most cases not so pretty as their adults, although sometimes it is vice-versa, but I hope that more of such pictures will be posted to TrekNature.

Very good shot! There's not much pictures of pupae on TN so it's good to see this post.
The composition seem to be a little too cnetered but apart from that it's a great shot. I especially like the BG and colours.

Hi Paulo,
this swallowtail pupa is surprisingly well hidden in vegetation, and you present it very clear and sharp with all the fine hues of colours of the insect and its background where it seems to disappear. Very impressive document!
