Beautiful moth Paulo, Your efforts paid off well. Great use of flash under very difficult night-time conditions..I've been checking my porch lamp every night and early morning in the hope of finding a colorful moth there myself..We have some very large ones here in Texas..

That is indeed a beautiful moth, Paulo. All your efforts to go in search of it were worthwhile and well rewarded. The flash is doing a good job of showing the gorgeous colors. Very crisp focus. Great pick of BG as the green leaf offers a sharp contrast to the pinks and oranges of the insect. Very well done and TFS. : )

- oh, i sea, my daughter is wrong, it´s not a moth ---- it´s a butterfly!!!! This butterfly is a "Sphingidae". His name Deilephila elpenor, in german "Mittlerer Weinschwärmer".

Paulo, wonderful shot and well worth the effort you put into getting it. Those colours are amazing so wonderful exposure and good use of flash. Very nice sharpness and definition too. What is your moth trap like? I'm trying to make one myself. I'd love to see this species, I'm quite jealous but well done and TFS :)

Hello Paulo, very nice shot of this moth. The colours are excellent and it's a rare thing to see one in light such as this. I've only ever seen one before.

Did you use noise reduction? I ask as the details on the thorax looks a little odd...perhaps this is me?

You have a very nice serie of butterfly. I choose this one because i find it very beautifull. It's a kind of butterfly that we can't see here in Quebec. I like the contrast between the leave and the butterfly. Good details too. Very well done.

Have to be honest moths are not my favourite but this one caught my eye. Very colourfull. Nice background against leaf makes it stand out. I think maybe it might stand out more if you cropped it to so its just sat on leaf without distraction of top right corner. TFS Allan
