Lovely capture. I've never seen this kind of green moth. Classic composition works very well, brown BG is also suitable for this shot. Good sharpness, details and very interesting note.

Hi Paulo, nice image. I think it's great that you can trap/locate all these and it must be difficult gettign the shots with artificial light. I wonder if you are using a noise reduction filter as the details look a little smoothed out.

Moths are not my favourite subjects, at least the ones we have in our zone, always pale and boring. But with your gallery I noticed I must have a closer look, there are really beautiful ones (alhough this one is rare)
Looks as if it was made of wax, it is a strange texture... Thanks for awaking my interest on this subjects.

Nice shot of this Geometridae. I've seen it few times at large but unfortunatelly I didn't have my camera to make a picture. I hope the next time will be better ;-D
