Moth on your picture looks impressive. Patterns on wings are detailed and colorfull. Nice composition. As Krzysiek wrote sharpness could be better but overall this is very good come back.

I agree 100% with you about the beauty of this moth. It is a spectacular sight. Nice wing colour and texture, especially the lining along the edges of the wings. This is a super shot, with fantastic sharpness and a great combination of colours. Photo is well framed and the presentation is splendid and in a fine manner. Thanks for sharing this special photo.

So nice to see a fresh posting from you!
Beautifully presented Great Peacock Moth.
I like its natural colours in the pleasantly dim light.
What an exciting encounter - in German language it is called the Viennese Peacock Moth, probably because it was first described from here. Whenever I come to see one of these bat-size moths it comes as a great event. But I do not see it every year in spring, sometimes I just see one of its giant green caterpillars crossing my path in midsummer.
Must be a real job feeding those caterpillars in captivity, considering their enormous appetite. And it must be a very happy event to see those moths emerging from their cocoons in spring.

this is a very beautiful moth and you have catch it in a nice way. The colours and pattern are beautiful.
The moth standout well from the BG and I agree with Krzysztof
about the sharpen.

What can I say about your picture
Fantastic The biggest European moth. Great OOF background nice fied guide POV.

Sharpness is good but I think that you could do a little selective sharpen or unsharp mask on wings and maybe add a little contrast
I am waiting for more

It is really amazing and very beautiful moth. I have met it only once and have been very impressed. Excellent POV and diagonal composition of the image. WS is significantly better than original image. Nice work and all the best.

This is one of the species I have always wanted to see. I like very much the beautiful colours, yet some sharpening would make the image more appealing. Anyway, it's a great job!
