It's one of my favourite butterflies, well composed shot, but I think with a good croppin this can be done better. farther fantstic job,

I agree - very common but beautifull butterfly. Extremaly hard to capture with spreaded wings ;-) Yesterday I made few photos of same kind. Great details, colours and light. Very good work!

Hello Paulo, I have never pay attention to insects until I got my close up lens a couple of moths ago. It is incredible to find the same kind of species in different continents and with so different weather conditions. I have a shot of the same butterfly in my gallery shotted in Bolivia. I also included yours in a theme that I created for this butterfly. You will notice that this butterfly can be found in almost all the continents. About your compo, you did a fine job.
