That is fascinating, Paulo. An incredible shot with sharp details and perfect light for us to see what is inside the chrysalid. You were lucky to have caught both stages in its metamorphosis. Is it really standing straight up like that? Most chrysalids hang down. And what is that white thread that seems to go around it towards the top? Thanks for a great picture. : )

Hi Paulo, nice shot of this...not easy to spot I bet. It's a very detailed view of this pupa, I'm not keen on the string! But it's a great way of putting it somewhere to keep an eye on it. Good shot.

Muy buen macro de esta pupa de la que acá llamamos mariposón limonero, los detalles son excelentes.
ojalá que ahora con la primavera pueda tomar algunas fotos nuevas de insectos.
