Sometimes people miss the underside of the wings and it can be such a pity, the red admiral has such nice wings on both sides.

I love the detail in this picture - the colours are so clear.

delightful capture of this freshly emerged admiral.
Excellent details all over, and very well visible shades of colours in these very dark areas of wings.
Very strong and hard light perfectly used for showing all the slightly iridescencent parts.
Well composed, too.
I feel tempted to rotate that picture 90 degrees to the left.
Did you present it rotated 90 degrees right turn?
