Hi Gabriel,
A very hard and difficult shot to come out with perfect results, the 12'O'Clock sun has illuminated the background, taking away the main focus of the birds that show loss of detail due to underexposed areas on the plumage, especially on the bird in the foreground. Try shifting your camera position around until you find a nice dark background if possible and take another light meter reading off the neutral areas on the main subject, if not that a gray rock reading gives pretty good results.. My rule is a nice dark background works way better than a light background most of the time. It is still a wonderful shot with both birds nicely composed.
